Purely DentalThere are 5 good reasons why we’re not an NHS practice.

The new NHS contract is driven by points-based targets. The incentive is to fulfil those targets regardless of the patient’s actual needs. At Purely Dental we have no targets and can concentrate entirely on the most appropriate care for you.

The new NHS contract gives no rewards for preventing dental decay or gum disease. At Purely Dental we are passionate about preventing problems in the first place. Why would you want to wait for a problem and then pay to fix it when you can be shown how to avoid the problem in the first place?

The new NHS contract places restrictions on what treatment you are offered. At Purely Dental we will spend time with you to make sure you are aware of all the possible options and have sufficient information so that you can make an informed choice about what is going to be best for YOU.

The rules of the NHS contract are at the whim of the local PCT and the government of the day. They’re regularly amended and priorities seem to change with the passing seasons. At Purely Dental we know our patients and have the stability and independence to be able to consistently look after you and your needs rather than fulfil the latest fad that comes from the powers that be.

The NHS treadmill means having to churn through many, many patients each day to fulfil point quotas. At Purely Dental you have time to build a trusting relationship with all our team members. You will feel confident about the care that you receive and feel welcome every time you walk through our door.
